My career started in emergency services as a helicopter flight paramedic for 13 years. I furthered my education and pursued my nursing degree over 30 years, 18 of those have been dedicated to the bleeding disorder community.  I was an HTC Hemophilia Nurse Coordinator for 5 years and then worked for a specialty pharmacy before joining the Takeda Team 9.5 years ago. </p><p>I have committed my life to empowering patients and caregivers through education with compassion, a sense of humor, and conviction. </p><p>When I'm not traveling, my priority is spending time with my family. I also have an adorable yellow lab rescue named Doogan. I love the outdoors, traveling, hiking, kayaking, and gardening. I adore Italy! I do yearly regional cooking in Italy. I also married into a family who either have hemophilia B or VWD.
